Our content

The games, code, artwork and text on TurboGames are created for the Site or used with permission. We do not host or distribute games built by other companies, and we do not use other people's characters, logos or levels. If you believe something on the Site is too close to your work, we want to hear about it.

Sending a notice

To report alleged infringement, send us a written notice through the contact page that includes:

  1. your name and contact details (an email address or phone number);
  2. a description of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed;
  3. the exact web address (URL) on TurboGames where the material appears;
  4. a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
  5. a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner; and
  6. your physical or electronic signature.

Notices that do not include these details may be delayed or cannot be acted on.

What we do

When we receive a valid notice we will review it promptly and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the material. We may pass your notice, with your contact details, to the person who supplied the material. We may end access for people who repeatedly infringe.

Counter-notice

If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice with your contact details, a description of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake, and your signature. We may restore the material unless the complainant tells us they have started legal action.

False claims

Knowingly submitting a false notice or counter-notice can have legal consequences, including liability for damages and costs. Please make sure a claim is valid before you send it.
