About Aim Trainer
Aim Trainer is a sixty-second reflex test. Red and white bullseye targets pop up on a dark grid, and your job is to click or tap each one before its timer ring runs out. It is a pure precision game with no enemies and nothing to dodge, just you, the cursor and a shrinking clock. The fun comes from watching your accuracy and speed improve from one round to the next.
It suits anyone who wants a quick warm-up before a shooter, a mouse-accuracy check, or a one-minute break. Every round lasts exactly a minute, so it is easy to fit in and easy to repeat. A good run ends with high accuracy and a fast average hit time, which the game shows on the results screen next to your score.
How to play Aim Trainer
- Start the round and wait for the countdown to finish.
- Click or tap each bullseye as soon as it appears.
- Watch the ring around a target; when it empties the target disappears and counts as a miss.
- Chain hits without a miss to build a combo.
- Keep going until the bar at the top runs out after 60 seconds.
Controls
| Keyboard and mouse | Move the mouse over a target and left-click to shoot. Press Ctrl+P to pause and Ctrl+M to mute, and Enter starts or restarts a round. |
|---|---|
| Phone and tablet | Tap directly on each target. Every tap counts as a shot, so tap only where a target is. |
Scoring
Each hit is worth at least 10 points, plus extra for hitting early and for landing close to the center. Three or more hits in a row add a combo bonus that stops growing at ten. Clicking empty space costs 5 points, and the final screen reports your accuracy percentage and average reaction time.
Tips and strategy
- Hit targets the moment they appear. Points drop as the ring shrinks, so a fast click on the edge beats a slow click on the center.
- Never click empty space to warm up. Each stray click costs 5 points and resets your combo, which hurts more than one slow hit.
- Aim for the middle of the bullseye when you can do it without slowing down. Near-center hits add bonus points and show a gold BULLSEYE label.
- Expect targets to shrink and vanish sooner as the minute goes on. Stay relaxed early so your hands are warm for the faster second half.
- Keep your eyes moving to the next target while you click the current one. Looking ahead saves the fraction of a second that decides your average time.
Aim Trainer FAQ
▸Why did my score drop when I clicked?
A click that lands outside every target is a miss and removes 5 points and your combo. Targets have a small grace area around them, but anything beyond that counts against you.
▸What happens if I let a target expire?
It vanishes with a late label and counts as a miss, and your combo resets. It does not subtract points the way a stray click does.
▸Does the game get harder?
Yes. Over the minute the targets get smaller, disappear faster, and more of them can be on screen at once.
▸Are scores saved to a leaderboard?
Your final score is submitted when the round ends and can count toward the weekly leaderboard and your XP.
