About Word Connect
Word Connect gives you a wheel of scrambled letters and a row of blank word slots at the top of the screen. You trace a path through the letters to spell words, and each correct word fills its slot. Every level hides a set of words that can all be made from the same wheel, and words you find outside the list still earn bonus points.
It suits word-game fans and anyone who likes a relaxed puzzle with a gentle clock. Runs last three to eight minutes, because each word you find adds seconds. A good run clears several levels, builds a combo of back-to-back finds, and keeps enough time banked that the bigger seven-letter wheels do not feel rushed.
How to play Word Connect
- Look at the wheel and the empty slots, which show how many words there are and how long each is.
- Drag across the letters in order. Each letter can be used once per word, and sliding back onto the previous letter removes it.
- Release to submit. Words of three or more letters are checked right away.
- Fill every slot to clear the level and start a bigger wheel, while the clock keeps running.
- The game ends when the timer reaches zero, so keep finding words to add more seconds.

Scoring
A listed word scores 10 points per letter plus 5 for each word already chained in your combo. Words outside the list but still valid give 4 points per letter as bonus words. Clearing a level adds 100 plus twice your remaining seconds, so a fast level clear is worth the most.
Tips and strategy
- Start with the short three-letter words. They are easy to see and give a quick combo and a few seconds of extra time.
- Chain correct words without errors. Combos reset after a mistake or a repeat, so careful submissions beat random guessing.
- Each listed word adds up to 6 seconds, based on its length. Long words are the best way to refill the clock.
- Use Shuffle when you are stuck, since a new layout often reveals a word you overlooked. It does not cost anything.
- The Hint button spends 30 points to reveal one missing word. It adds no time or combo, so save it for the last word of a level.
Word Connect FAQ
▸What are bonus words?
They are real words you can spell from the wheel that are not among the listed answers. They give a few points and one extra second, and they are counted at the bottom of the screen.
▸How long do I have?
You begin with 75 seconds. Each found word adds time, and finishing a level adds another 10 seconds.
▸Do the wheels get bigger?
Yes. Early levels use four letters, and the wheel grows by one letter every two levels up to seven. Later levels also list more words to find.
▸Why was my word rejected?
It might be too short, use a letter more times than the wheel offers, or not be in the game's word list. Very obscure or inflected words may not be included.
