About Soccer Juggle
Soccer Juggle is a one-ball keep-up challenge on a green pitch. The ball falls under gravity, and every time you tap it, it kicks back up and your juggle count increases by one. Where you tap changes the direction, so you also have to keep it away from the sides. If the ball touches the ground, the run is over.
It suits short breaks of one to three minutes and anyone who likes simple one-button reflex games. The challenge ramps gently, with the ball falling faster as your count grows and wind starting to push it sideways after a few juggles. A good run reaches a few dozen juggles with calm, steady taps.
How to play Soccer Juggle
- Start the round and watch the ball drop.
- Tap the ball just before it reaches the ground to kick it back up.
- Tap off-center to steer it away from the walls.
- Keep an eye on the Wind label that appears later and counter its push.
- When the ball touches the ground, the run ends and your juggles are counted.
Controls
| Keyboard and mouse | Click the ball with the mouse to kick it, or press Space or the Up arrow. Hold Left or Right (or A or D) while pressing to angle the kick. |
|---|---|
| Phone and tablet | Tap the ball itself. Tapping the left half of the ball sends it right, and tapping the right half sends it left. |
Scoring
Every successful kick is one juggle, and the final score is ten points per juggle. The screen shows the juggle count as you go, with a message at every fifth and tenth kick. Over time the ball falls faster and kicks go higher, so each juggle becomes harder than the last.
Tips and strategy
- Wait until the ball is close to you before tapping. Early taps near the top of its bounce can be weaker and leave you scrambling.
- Tap the side of the ball opposite to where you want it to go. A tap on its left half sends it right, so you can steer it back to the middle.
- Stay near the center of the field. The walls bounce the ball back with a little speed loss, but chasing it into corners causes mistakes.
- From about the fifth juggle, wind begins pushing the ball sideways for a few seconds at a time. Aim slightly into the wind instead of straight up.
- Keyboard play is easier to keep rhythmic. Pair Space with the Left or Right arrow to angle your kick without moving the mouse.
Soccer Juggle FAQ
▸Why does the ball go sideways when I tap it?
The kick direction depends on where you hit it. Tapping off-center sends it the opposite way, which is how you steer.
▸When does the wind start?
It begins after about five juggles and its strength grows with your count up to a limit. The arrows and the Wind label show which way it blows.
▸What is a good score?
Reaching 20 juggles, which is 200 points, is a solid run. Players who stay calm through the wind phase can go much higher.
▸Does it count for the leaderboard?
Your score is submitted when the ball hits the ground and can count toward the weekly leaderboard and XP.
